Research, Evaluation and Learning team works to enable rescue4children to measure its results and effectiveness. It is the second phase of the Policy, Research and Learning initiative conceived to strengthen rescue4children’s work with research, analysis and the use of social science methods.
As such, it represents the culmination of 1 year of learning about the partnerships, methods, tools, field and technical capacities required for rescue4children to determine what works across sectors and country programs.
Research, Evaluation and Learning’s mandate is to lead the creation of a design, monitoring and evaluation system. Once in place, the structure, staff capacity, policies and tools of this system will help to:
Assure the quality of rescue4children data collection and analysis so field, technical and senior staff can make decisions based on objective information;
Establish quality methods for rescue4children to learn from its own experience and measure the results, effectiveness and impact of its work;
Build a functional connection between project design, implementation and organizational learning so that rescue4children can begin to build a knowledge base for which approaches work and why.
